The community college provides employment services, immigration services, post-secondary education and WIA programs for people who live, primarily, within the school district which includes Downey, Norwalk, Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens, Bellflower, Cerritos, Artesia and La Mirada as well as adjacent areas of South East Los Angeles County.
