Mona Park, located in South Los Angeles, is the recipient of the prestigious Dodger Dreamfield! The beautiful new field was dedicated to the community in November 2011 by former Dodger owner Frank McCourt and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, in partnership with LA84 and the Dodger Dream Foundation. The Park includes solar scoreboards and a new sprinkler system. This 8.4-acre recreational facility also includes a gymnasium and a swimming pool that is open daily throughout the summer season. Mona Park features year-round recreational programming including youth sports, the summer lunch program, after-school snacks, and after-school day camp programs.
