The Department of Regional Planning performs all land use planning functions for the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. Our services include long range planning, land development counseling, project/case intake and processing, environmental review and zoning enforcement for each of our County unincorporated communities. The Hall of Records is conveniently located adjacent to the Civic Center Station of the Metro Red Line subway. The building is directly in front of the escalator at the Temple Street exit of the Civic Center Station. The Land Development Coordinating Center (public counter) offers assistance at the public counter to those who need help with translations in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Armenian, and Farsi.
