Located within the historic Athens Village, Athens Park features two large baseball diamonds, a gymnasium, swimming pool, large community room and a computer lab. In addition to 20 acres of attractive urban parkland, Athens Park provides year-round recreational programs including After School and Summer Day Camps, youth sports such as basketball, baseball, tackle football, cheerleading, summer lunch, and After School snack program. Athens Park is also home to Tiny Tot University. Youth ages 3 to 5 develop extensive math, science and English skills during this program before enrolling in Pre-K.

Our swim lessons offer an oportunity to develop different swimming skills. Our levels range from level 1, beginners, having no or little knowledge of swimming skills. Level 2, develop the skills learned in level 1 and be more confortable in the water. Level 3, master previous strokes and introduce breastroke and butterfly kick. level 4, where the students develop the proper techniques to be part of a aswim team.
During Recreational swim, pools are open to the public for free swim. Anyone in swim attire is welcome to come swim and will be monitored by our lifeguards.
Youth novice swim team, coached by Pool Lifeguards introduces the skills and discipline of a competitive swim team all while creating a fun, organized environment. Preparing the participants for novice competitive swim meets.
