City Terrace Park has a wide variety of activities for children, teens and adults. This is a popular place for birthday parties and picnics. The park is especially popular during the warm months of summer because small children can cool off in the splashpad and those who can swim can use the pool.

The After School Program is geared towards youth in elementary and middle schools. This recreation program is designed to promote self-esteem through group interaction and self-expression. The program offers homework assistance, games, sports, music, computers and arts and crafts

Teaches the basic fundamentals of ceramics. Pouring, painting, etc.
Participants will learn different levels of techniques in stunts, dance, and cheer; all being taught with the understanding that safety comes first. It is the goal of this agency to provide a fun activity in a safe environment, aid in deterring youth from the pressures of the street, and help build self-esteem and social skills.
Capers is a performing Arts program for participant’s ages 4-17 interested in song and dance. Activities include a large dance and a culminating performance. Participants do a finale performance the 1st Saturday of June
Exercise and physical activity are good for just about everyone, including older adults. Endurance and aerobic activities increase your breathing and heart rate. Brisk walking or jogging, dancing, swimming and biking are examples. Lifting weights or using a resistance band can build strength, and flexibility exercises stretch your muscles and can help your body stay limber

Senior group that meet once a week. Activities include social time, lunch, meetings, bingo, dances, trips, etc.

Running, jumping, throwing and catching are basic fundamentals of sports, and basic elements of play. We allow these building blocks of athleticism; the key is to make it fun, not demanding or stressful. This is a non-competitive league.

Scheduled times for patrons to come in and use the pool for swim conditioning/endurance and aquatic training.
Pool is open to the public to cool off from the summer heat. Schedule varies depending on day(s). All pool users must be in approptiate swim wear.
Swim instruction provided to the community for all levels of swimming ability. Lessons offered for toddlers and infants, youth, adults, and seniors. Swim classes offered from ages 7 to adult for the non-swimmer up to advanced. Parent/toddler classes offered for ages 18 months to 6 years. All swim classes are based on American Red Cross guidelines. Class offerings are determined by need.
