This very busy 5-acre park is a staple in the community with many recreational programs and community events. The park is most known for being the location where tennis greats Venus and Serena Williams learned to play tennis. East Rancho Dominguez Park, formally known as East Compton Park, is home to several yearly traditions including an annual tree lighting ceremony and a celebration luncheon for law enforcement and firefighters each year on 9/11.
