An oasis in the city, Lennox Park is located in the path of one of the nation’s busiest airports, Los Angeles International Airport. With more than 5.6 acres, this park has been the gathering place for more than 18,000 residents for decades. Some may consider it the heart of the community because of its many events, programs and senior activities. This popular park is open year-round and bustling with recreational activities for people of all ages including swimming, aerobics, teen club, after school programming and senior lunch. Lennox Park is home to many of the community’s staple events including a weeklong Cinco de Mayo Festival and the Hispanic Heritage Festival. The park includes an active and growing Senior Citizen Center and Toy Loan building where community volunteers provide fun-filled activities for the young and old.
