This very popular park is a hub of activities for adults and children alike. The children’s playground can often be found full of children, and the basketball court is just as popular with teens and adults. The park has plenty of space for children to run around and it also has amenities for adults such as a walking pad and fitness zone.

Programs
The After school program is intended for youth between the ages of 6-13. Program activities include: homework assistance, arts & crafts, computer class, sports & recreation. Additional activities include a free snack, and tutoring for all participants. The park pick students up directly from Valleydale Elementary School, however the program is open to any child attending any school.
Mighty Might Basketball teaches the core fundamentals for the game of basketball. Teaching young players between the ages of 3-5 years old, dribbling, shooting, the rules of basketball, vocal & listening skills, team work and sportsmanship.
Cheerleading is intended to develop young girls and boys in choreographed dances, and stunts. With an emphasis on team bonding, skill development, leadership, stage performance, personal dedication and self discipline.
Kids love images, videos and music. The ability to create and consume colorful graphics and catchy tunes makes the Department of Parks and Recreation’s computer club so much fun and rewarding. The amount of creativity one can achieve through the Computer Club will keep you inspired.
County Capers is intended to develop young girls and boys in choreographed dances, acting and singing. With an emphasis on team bonding, skill development, leadership, personal dedication, self discipline, stage performance and personal self confindence.
This is a fun way to get started. The demonstration is fun and easy to follow. Learn the basics: the different kinds of fibers, knitting needles and stiches. Great for newcomers and experienced knitters too.
Program is for Children ages 6-17 years old. Running, jumping are basic fundamentals of drama, and basic elements of theater . We allow these building blocks of theater; the key is to make it fun, not demanding or stressful. This is instructional classes only.

Senior Program provides activities include Art Classes, Fitness Classes, Lunch Program , Day Trips, Garden Classes and Educational Classes.

The Teen Club provides youth with a place to come together and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Teens participate in many activities ranging from sports, field trips, dances, volunteer work, homework assistance and mentoring.
Learn the basics of acting; theatre etiquette, discipline, focus and work ethics. Learn and basic stage combat. Introduce improvisation skills that will you to get in touch with your creative side. Improve your reading and speaking skills through scene study exercises. Build your confidence and self-esteem. Learn teamwork and leadership abilities through working with fellow students in rehearsals and performance
Tiny Tot Program is intended to benefit the development of the whole child. Young children learn and develop their understanding of the world through play, language development, mathematical, music art, socoial/emotional relationships and physcial fitness.
“Use it or lose it." That's what doctors these days are telling senior citizens about their bodies. But, seniors need not think they have to sign up for high-impact aerobics classes or run 10K races to stay in shape. Instead, fitting a simple 35-minute walk into their daily activities can keep them physically strong and agile. Walking is a tremendously good activity for senior citizens. It's cheap, it's simple, and almost anybody can do it.
