Arcadia Park is a beautiful grassy park in the city of Arcadia. It is the perfect place for adults to sit and meditate while children can play in the various playgrounds, ride their bikes or simply run around. The park has many picnic areas and is ideal for family celebrations, picnics and special events.

Basketball is a fun team sport and great exercise. With 92 basketball courts throughout our parks, there are plenty of courts for everyone to shoot some hoops. Stop by with friends, or join in a game at your local park. There are programs for youth and adults. Visit your favorite park for more information.
Participants will enjoy the game of football without the physical contact. Flag football is a form of football in which the ball-carrier's progress is stopped when an opponent pulls a flag from the ball carrier's pocket or belt. Good times and fun for all.
Youth learn the basic of cooking, kitchen safety, cooking tools, and measurements. Kids learn that cooking is fun.
Lawn Bowling is a unique and fun outdoor sport played on a bowling green. The game is popular around the world and is suitable for children as young as 10 and those who are young at heart. The object of the game is to roll a ball, or bowl, closest to the target ball, a small white ball called a jack. The ball's design, slightly flattened on one side, creates the challenge of the game.
All participants have a chance to learn new skills and enjoy fun competition in a safe environment. Registration and teams are organized at each park. If you’re interested in being a volunteer coach or would like more information on this sport, please contact your local park.
Tiny Tot Program is intended to benefit the development of the whole child. Young children learn and develop their understanding of the world through play, language development, mathematical, music art, socoial/emotional relationships and physcial fitness.

Scheduled times for patrons to come in and use the pool for swim conditioning/endurance and aquatic training.
Swim instruction provided to the community for all levels of swimming ability. Lessons offered for toddlers and infants, youth, adults, and seniors. Swim classes offered from ages 7 to adult for the non-swimmer up to advanced. Parent/toddler classes offered for ages 18 months to 6 years. All swim classes are based on American Red Cross guidelines. Class offerings are determined by need.
Instruction in the use of mask, fins, and snorkel. Participants will learn the proper use of skin diving equipment and skills for comfort and enjoyment in the water. Some components of the course include mask clearing, several different kicks and conditioning for endurance.

Pool is open to the public to cool off from the summer heat. Schedule varies depending on day(s). All pool users must be in approptiate swim wear.
Program is designed to build confidence in the water and teach important skills that can be used to save a life. Participants will learn some rescue skills, CPR and First-aid.
This program allows participants to build strength, flexibility, and endurance with low impact exercises without the consequences of sore joints.
